From Our Community

Shalonda Glass, Richards Parent

"We as a whole absolutely love Richards. It has been the first school my son ever attended and the second my daughter attended. I refuse for them to go anywhere else. The love, support, patience, and care they give to our children is outstanding. It's such a wonderful blessing to have such a great principal and staff; we will forever be a Richards Raider!”

Ursula Conley, Richards Parent

"Our experience with Richards Elementary has been nothing short of exceptional. When my daughter was diagnosed with a new medical condition, the entire staff went above and beyond to support our family.  They immediately assisted us in setting up a homeschooling option that was perfectly tailored to our family’s needs. Throughout this period, their support was unwavering, not just for my daughter but also for my son, ensuring both children continued to feel connected to the school community."

Liz Magallanes Dieguez, Richards Parent

"We are the proud parents of 2 special needs children. During their journey through Richards (Pre-K to 6th grade for one and K to 12 for the other), both Richards and us learned how to work for their well-being, both academically and socially; sometimes, it was a challenge to get to an agreement, but with the support of the staff and working as a team we agreed what was best and we see the results now that she moved to Middle School and he prepares for the same jump. We want to thank everyone working at Richards for their support."

Alex Wenzler, Richards Alumni

“Richards helped prepare me for life by placing adults in my life who I knew I could go to if I needed help. Over the years I have contacted many teachers and/or staff for questions as simple as a workout plan for the summer to what is needed to attend college in the criminal justice field. I know these educators not only helped me with the foundations for my education but also provided a safe place for me to continue to grow and ask questions as I get older.”
